New Hires and Promotions at Midway

Midway is pleased to announce several promotions and a new hire within the company.

Promotions

Lacee Jacobs and Robert Sigler have been appointed to Midway’s Leadership Team, joining the company’s top executives in setting and implementing firmwide direction and strategy.

 

Jacobs began her career at Midway and returned in 2020 to launch the firm’s new Strategic Leasing and Advisory Services group. As Vice President of Strategic and Leasing Advisory, she leads the integrated investment team in developing and implementing leasing and merchandising strategies to create value and ensure the success of Midway’s mixed-use portfolio.

 

Sigler joined Midway in 2017and serves as Senior Vice President of Construction on the firm’s Investment and Development team. In addition to his appointment to the Leadership Team, he is now the lead executive in charge of pre-construction, design, and construction operations across Midway's multi-regional real estate development platform.

 

Trevor Janecek has been promoted to Vice President, Investment Management. In his new role, he helps lead the firm’s Investment Management team in providing company stake holders the highest level of fiduciary management for Midway’s operating portfolio of investments. Janecek joined Midway’s Investment Management team in 2015 as an Associate and most recently served as a Manager prior to his promotion.

 

Andrew McKinney has been promoted to Regional Property Manager, Property Operations, and is responsible for oversight and operations of a portion of Midway’s portfolio group of multifamily and commercial properties, including development, start-up, acquisition, due diligence and property operations. Previously serving as General Property Manager responsible for GreenStreet, Midway’s downtown Houston mixed-use project, McKinney was promoted to help expand Midway’s in-house management of multifamily, office and retail.

 

New Hire

Kelly Day joins Midway as Director, Investor Relations. In this role, she is the single point of contact for investors and partners, responsible for managing and executing strategic investor relations initiatives for over 200 existing private investors. She is also responsible for identifying new prospective investors, cultivating relationships and communicating the firm’s strategy and opportunities to both existing and potential investors. Day brings over 15years of investor relations expertise to the role. She most recently served as Director of Institutional Relations at EnerVest, Ltd., where she was responsible for all aspects of investor relations for over 200 institutional investors consisting of public and corporate pensions, endowments, foundations, consultants, family offices and fund of funds. Along with managing investor needs, she was responsible for raising capital for oil and gas private equity funds and marketing the funds to prospective investors. During her time with EnerVest, she helped raise three private equity funds totaling ~$6 billion, along with numerous co-investment funds. Prior to EnerVest, she held senior financial analyst positions at Superior Offshore International, Inc. and Ernst& Young. Day graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
